We would like to inform you about the fuel surcharge of 18,8% for the month of May 2026.
Changes in fuel prices cause the cost of transportation to change dynamically, resulting in the need to introduce a variable fuel surcharge. This can rise, fall or be removed altogether in line with movements in fuel and alternative fuel prices.
The price of diesel fuel for setting the amount of the fuel surcharge is determined by the price of fuel, including duties and taxes, for the EA-20 group of countries as published by the European Commission's Energy and Transport Oil Bulletin.
The price of electricity for determining the fuel surcharge is based on the Average price of electricity (alternative fuel) published by the Czech Statistical Office here.
The percentage fuel surcharge is always calculated in relation to the price of transport. The current amount of the fuel surcharge is published on the PPL website in the last week of each month.
