Frequently asked questions

PPL Parcelshop is a place (an independent entrepreneur’s shop or establishment) which, in addition to its main activity, enables the receipt and collection of PPL shipments. The recipient and the sender don’t have to follow a certain time of delivery and dispatch, and the parcel can be collected or dropped off (except for Žabka branches) during the PPL Parcelshop opening hours by anyone who tells the staff the PIN for receipt.

PPL Parcelbox is a self-service dispensing and feeding box. It has continuous operation 24/7, control is very easy and intuitive. Payment is only possible by card. You will need a PIN to pick up the shipment.

We deliver shipments to the first lockable door at the delivery address. The driver is not obliged to take the shipment upstairs. If you are not reached at the address, the shipment will be delivered to the nearest available Parcelshop, where you can conveniently pick it up at any time withing 7 working days. Also shipment can be delivered to the nearest available Parcelbox, where you can pick it up 24/7 within 3 working days.

In the event of impaired road conditions, the driver will offer the recipient delivery to an alternative address or to the nearest Parcelshop or Parcelbox.

Please note that PPL is not able to deliver shipments to a P.O. Box.

If you have chosen direct delivery to the Parcelshop, you will receive an SMS and an email where you will be informed about where the shipment is stored and at what times it can be picked up, and where you will also be provided the PIN for pick-up. A map of all Parcelshops can be found here.

If the driver doesn’t reach the recipient at the address during the first delivery, the shipment may be stored at the nearest pick-up point.

You can pick up your parcel within 7 calendar days of receipt at the PPL Parcelshop. Please note that on the 7th day it may be handed over to the driver during the day and returned to the sender. You can pick up your parcel within 3 calendar days of receipt at the Parcelbox. 

To pick up your parcel, you need the PIN sent in the relevant email and SMS message.

If you are unable to come to the Parcelshop or Parcelbox in person, it is possible to provide a PIN for pick-up to any person who is able to pick up the shipment for you.

PPL Parcelshops are not always equipped with a payment terminal so it is necessary to prepare cash.
