Almost all input costs are increasing across the market. The current situation on the labour market has caused a shortage of labour forces, thus increasing pressure on employees’ wages. The company also continues to invest into improving services and quality. In 2019, PPL reached its historical maximum in delivery quality. All of these costs are therefore reflected in the prices. Next year, the increase will be on average 3.6% for parcel services, and 5.0% for pallet services.

Due to the rising number of consignments, PPL is expanding not only the capacity of its depots and technologies, but is also developing its network of unaddressed parcel delivery - partner delivery and collection points called PPL Parcelshops. For this reason, the company has decided to project these factors into its prices next year, in order to continue working on developing its services. The price increase is also due to rising wages on the market and the generally higher input costs, which must be taken into account in every parcel.

Apart from the service price increase, PPL also stipulated a new toll fee resulting from the perceptible increase in paid segments of roads and highways starting in the new year. The price is available under the aforementioned link.
