25 years, 25 gifts for customers! PPL is celebrating its birthday and is launching an online game

And since most people, specifically 57% of Czechs, buy electronics over the Internet, the winners can look forward to a mobile phone or a new television set. The competition lasts until July 16. Anyone to whom PPL will deliver a parcel from an online shop during the competition period can try their luck.

If you want to win a package that you did not order, but is guaranteed to conjure a smile on your face, participate in the PPL competition ‘25 years with passion for parcels’. Simply visit www.25letppl.cz and put together a picture of a PPL ParcelShop. Each day, the fastest competitor will be selected to win one of many valuable prizes.

 

Czechs enjoy electronics
The Czechs themselves decided on the nature of the prizes - by which packages they order most often. According to a survey conducted by Nielsen Admosphere for PPL, for example, senior citizens often order a delivery of household appliances, while women, for example, order cosmetics – in total, 37% of people buy these products in online shops. The second most popular category is clothing, which 56% of respondents buy online. But Czechs like to use online shops most often to buy electronics – one per cent more people order it online: as much as 57%.

“We decided to celebrate together with our customers, so we also adapted the choice of gifts to what Czechs like best,” explains Milan Loidl, marketing manager in PPL CZ s.r.o. “I have to say that we are glad that people order electronics the most - if we handed out clothes instead, it might not fit everyone right away. And I am not even mentioning other types of goods, such as animal feed,” adds Loidl with a smile.

Pet equipment also made it into the top 7 most ordered goods among women. No mom will be surprised that a tenth of people most often buy toys online. The good news is definitely that books, which are sent to 38 per cent of respondents, are also very popular among younger people under the age of 34.

“25 years is a beautiful anniversary that deserves to be celebrated,” says Loidl. “We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers who choose PPL transport in their online shops for the trust they show us. That is also why the gifts they can win are really valuable.”

The prizes in the competition ‘25 years with passion for parcels’ therefore include a mobile phone Huawei or three Full HD LED television sets Sencor SLE. In addition, competitors can win four fitness watches Samsung Galaxy or 5 JBL wireless headphones. Other gifts are two modern digital scales and 2 air purifiers, and so that even those who don't like electronics so much can enjoy the competition, the gifts also include 3 folding scooters.

He who is faster wins
If you would like to win any of the prizes, just visit the website at www.25letppl.cz and fill in the number of the parcel from PPL (starting with number 4) that is being delivered to you. Then you can play a simple game in which your task is to put together a picture of a PPL ParcelShop by moving the squares around the playing area. Each day, the participant with the fastest time will be selected to receive a gift for that day.

The competition will run for 25 days from 22 June to 16 July 2020. If PPL is delivering more parcels to you during this time, you can try your luck multiple times. “We have been making people happy for 25 years bringing them the gifts they have ordered. That is why this time we decided to prepare a surprise for our customers and give them a chance to win a gift that they don't even have to order,” concludes Loidl.
