New: Cash on delivery for shipments to Bulgaria

Cash on delivery to Bulgaria is now available for shipments via PPL Parcel Connect and PPL Parcel Smart Europe. The customer specifies the amount in euros; the maximum cash-on-delivery amount is 1,500 EUR (approx. 35,000 CZK), and the recipient can pay in cash or by card.

PPL will then transfer the collected amount to a euro account within the SEPA zone. Cash-on-delivery payments are processed within 10 business days of shipment delivery. To use this service, you must have a euro account for Bulgaria listed in your PPL customer profile.

For Czech e-commerce stores, this new feature provides another tool for adapting the shopping process to the habits of Bulgarian customers as they expand into the market and for offering them their preferred payment method.
